September:

Welcome back to a busy first few weeks. The sun has been shining and

we have had lots of fun outdoor activties. PE takes place every

Tuesday and Thursday. Here is a selection of  photos from our PE days.

Friendship Award. 

Well done to Ava Mc Goldrick in 2nd class who won the

Friend of the Week award. She won it for her caring and friendly nature towards

friends and her patience. Well done Ava. 

Trip to the local Recycling Centre

In Geography this week we discussed our responsbility in playing a

part in keeping our community and environment clean and tidy.

We decided to take a walk to the local recycling centre.

On route we took note of the directions we went (turning left/right etc)

and the landmarks we passed. We passed the church, the shrine Morans pub etc. 

We also watched out for signs in the environment. We noticed a stop sign, a warning 

sign for children crossing and the sign for the pedestrian crossing.
