Full or Empty

Today, Junior Infants had great fun learning about capacity through hands-on water activities. The children explored the concepts of full, nearly full, empty, and nearly empty while investigating how much water different containers could hold. Using a teaspoon, soup ladle, egg cup, and bottle, they predicted, measured, and compared the amounts of water in each glass. It was a wonderful way to develop their maths and scientific thinking through play and exploration.
