Junior Infants are learning all about adding in maths. We spent time today combining and partitioning sets of bears and cubes to see all the different ways we could make 5 or 10.
Senior Infants are learning all about money, from 1c coins to 20c coins. We looked at the size and colour of each coin and how they compared with each other. We worked how many 1c/2c coins were needed to make 2c/5c/10c & 20c. We also figured out how many 5c coins were needed to make 10c/20c & how many 10c coins we would need to make 20c.
