This month in history we have focused on the Great Irish Famine. We completed group projects and linked with art to make clay houses. When dry we painted the houses and created a mini famine village. We worked to create projects around facts of the famine and what life was like in Famine times. We also read the poem " Quaratine" by Evan Boland. We enjoyed learning lots about The Great Famine.
