As 3rd and 4th class are working on Area and Perimeter this week, we decided to take our maths outside and measure a 1m squared space in the garden. Firstly, we looked at what flowers, insects etc we could find within the space and then we calculated the area of the space using PE equipment. Each group got very creative with their challenge!
