We created amazing work inspired by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. We learned about his life as an artist, and discussed some art pieces he has become famous for. We also discussed cubism..Cubism was an art style created by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque that shows subjects from many different angles at once, breaking them into geometric shapes like cubes to show them as a whole, rather than a single, realistic view. This inspired us to create our own oil pastel Self Portrait paintings using very vibrant colours and designs.
