Junior & Senior Infants have been learning all about the properties of materials and whether they are waterproof or they can float or sink. Today we watched a clip about how to make a boat from playdough. We learned how to make the boat a certain shape and size, not too big and heavy. We experimented with lots of different shaped boats whilst working with our partners. Thanks to some of the senior room pupils who came to asist us building/making our boats. We added some marrowfat peas as passengers on our boats. We had great fun with this today.
